Lauren Powell Projects is a new contemporary art gallery in Los Angeles, California focused on highlighting emerging, underrepresented artists and site-specific installations that appeal to both art experts and novices alike, in an effort to make the art world more inclusive and accessible for all. The Hollywood Boulevard location hosted over 24 exhibitions and countless community events during it’s 26 month run. Lauren Powell works with artists in all forms ranging from visual to musical to fashion and food, and is interesting in collaborating with creatives to produce projects which lift our collective consciousness and create community. Also, joy is important and too often overlooked.

Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Powell curated 9 in-person exhibitions and 28 digital ones. Empowering artists with disabilities, she was an art advisor for Exceptional Artist Foundation in New York. Her work has been featured in Artnet, Artsy, Hyperallergic, The Art Newspaper, The Los Angeles Times, W Magazine and Homme Girl Magazine.
